Demaplane Facial
A pain-free exfoliation treatment where vellus hairs and dead skin cells are removed via dermaplaning treatment, allowing skin care to be more easily absorbed, and the skin itself to appear more smooth and refined.
Collagen Induction Therapy
Also known as Microneedling, Collagen Induction Therapy triggers your own natural healing process stimulating collagen production in the dermis. This is combined with premium grade serums to maximise the results from your treatment. Downtime is minimal, and the treatment produces firmer and smoother skin, and can help reduce scarring, pigmentation and pore size.
Chemical Peels
A variety of medical-grade chemical peels are available, with a treatment plan decided upon consultation. These range from a gentle peel with no down-time whatsoever, to a much stronger peel to tackle deeper imperfections within the skin with a longer recovery time.
Fat Dissolving Treatment
Injection lipolysis, also known as intralipotherapy, is a minimally invasive medical procedure
At Black Book Aesthetics we offer three types of fat dissolving treatment. Lipo Lab and Deso range show final results in 6-8 weeks (and are at the lower end of the price range). If a more rapid result is required, we also offer Lemon Bottle – a product that shows results in as little as 24 hours. This of course is reflected in the treatment price. A full medical consultation is required before treatment in all cases to rule out any contraindications.
Dermal Fillers
Dermal fillers are made out of a natural substance called Hyaluronic acid, a natural sugar molecule that is eventually absorbed by the body and naturally broken down. Soft tissue fillers (Hyaluronic acid) are injected into the skin to help replace volume loss, fill in facial wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance. Dermal fillers are also commonly used for shaping and contouring of the face, sculpting cheeks and adding definition to the chin and jawline. All Dermal Fillers used by Black Book Aesthetics are temporary and can be expected to last between 6-12 months depending on area treated, lifestyle factors and product selection. We also offer dissolving of previously injected dermal filler (subject to hyaluronidase patch test and non-allergic reaction). Prior to any procedure a face to face consultation will be undertaken to establish the amount required and brand of filler to ensure we achieve the desired result.
Anti-wrinkle Treatment
Anti-wrinkle injections (Botulinum toxin A) are used to temporarily relax the muscles from contracting preventing further lines and wrinkles from forming, creating a smoother looking appearance.
At Black Book Aesthetics we offer all anti-wrinkle treatments including all advanced techniques – please note that any anti-wrinkle treatment will require a full medical consultation prior to treatment with our prescriber to rule out any medical contraindications.
Skin Boosters
Skin Boosters are a treatment used to improve skin hydration, firmness and luminosity, through micro-injections of a soft gel-like substance called hyaluronic acid into the skin
On a more scientific level, Skin Boosters alter the skin’s ageing process by bringing back hyaluronic acid into the skin, making it look plumper, brighter, and more youthful. At the same time, the skin booster refreshes collagen production once injected, giving long term, anti-ageing effects.
At Black Book Aesthetics we offer a variety of skin booster treatments to encompass your specific needs, from under-eye treatment to overall luminosity. For best results we recommend two treatments spaced four to six weeks apart, but results are usually seen within days.
